THE LOOKOUT HOLIDAY APARTMENT IS ON A ROOM ONLY BASIS or the owners, Sandy and Kevin, local Kangaroo Island farmers and offer yummy breakfast provisions for you to cook in the apartment at $20 per person per night.

WINTER BONUS - between 1st June 2019 and 30 Seeptember 2019 - stay THREE NIGHTS and pay for TWO NIGHTS on a ROOM ONLY BASIS. *excludes the JUNE long weekend. PLUS a home baked treat (slice, cake or biscuits)
BETWEEN 1st June and 30 September 2019 - extra guest cost after the first two $35 pp per night
The apartment is attached to but totally separate from the main house, with stunning gardens complete with goldfish ponds. It has its own entrance and off street parking. A wonderful property to unwind, enjoy a wine on the verandah and simply relax and take in the views across the garden to the sea.
The Apartment is fully equipped and accommodates up to 4 people on a self-catering basis

The lounge area looks out over the front gardens with fish ponds set beneath deciduous trees. Beyond is the view across Backstairs Passage to the mainland.
* The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic cook top, fan forced oven, microwave, full sized fridge and is well supplied with utensils etc.
* The lounge area has a flat screen television with inbuilt DVD.
* Reverse cycle air conditioning and a wireless internet service is available.
* Access to the extensive front veranda which captures the view and the sweeping gardens.
* 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a king sized bed. The king splits to 2 singles to allow for a twin configuration if required.

The second bedroom has sliding door access to the gardens at the rear of the apartment.
Both bedrooms are fitted with inbuilt robes and ceiling fans. There are heaters in each room and dual controlled electric blankets on the pillow top beds.
* There is a large bathroom with a double vanity, shower cubicle, w/c and laundry facility. A hair dryer is provided and shower gel, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner are all included. The bathroom has a heated towel rail and overhead heat lamps. There is an extra separate w/c.
“We unexpectedly stayed an extra night on Kangaroo Island, and chose Sandy and Kevin’s place due to its proximity to Penneshaw (eight minutes during daylight hours, twice that if a cautious person is driving at night!) While we were only there for a night, we wished we could have stayed longer. The accomodation was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, and the home made bread that Sandy gave us on our return from our meal out in town provided a lovely breakfast complete with home made jams before we departed.” “Thanks to Sandy and Kevin for making our last night on Kangaroo Island a great one, we wish we could have stayed longer. Sandy & Kevin are delightful hosts and were always at hand when we needed some help. The annex of the house we stayed in is private and extremely comfortable with everything that you can possibly need. Views across the ocean and nearby farmland, beautiful deck furniture to relax in, full kitchen and laundry, extremely comfortable beds with good heating. The house is conveniently situated in a quiet, scenic location only 10 mins drive from Penneshaw, the ferry terminal, the local beaches and winery. We watched dolphins at sunset in Penneshaw Bay. The house is about an hours drive to Seal Bay which was a highlight of our trip. Breakfast provisions are optional, but offer mouth-watering local jams, home-made bread & muffins and lots more. We highly recommend this B&B and would definitely stay again. Zorana ASandy and Kevin, our hosts, provide a "home away from home". The rooms are spacious and they have thought of everything to make a holiday comfortable. The sea views back over to the mainland and the garden setting are beautiful. I found it amazing how there was so much colour in the garden in Winter. The location was excellent with a winery providing simple but pleasant lunches nearby, then Penneshaw is only a few minutes away with fuel, a good IGA, takeaways and a heritage pub. We hired a rental car so that we could access most attractions. Coming from Queensland, we were unprepared for the size of Kangaroo Island and the monopolistic mileage restrictions on rental cars found nowhere else we have travelled in the world over many years. Next time, we would stay a week or more and would definitely stay at The Lookout again. Dojii June 2018
